The Unboxing Mandate

To ensure a seamless return process in the rare event of a transit defect, a continuous unboxing video is mandatory. The video must start from the moment the courier seal is broken and clearly show the entire saree being unfolded. Claims without a complete unboxing video cannot be entertained.

I. Eligibility for Return

We accept returns exclusively under the following circumstances:

  • The ensemble received has a genuine manufacturing defect.
  • An incorrect item was delivered to your doorstep.
  • The request is initiated within 48 hours of the delivery timestamp.

II. The Return Process

Should you encounter an issue, please follow these steps to preserve the integrity of your request:

  • Send your unboxing video and order details to our concierge at care@shreeshakhi.com.
  • Upon internal verification of the video, our team will provide a 'Return Authorization'.
  • The saree must be returned in its original heritage packaging, unused, unwashed, and with all silk-mark tags intact.

III. Non-Returnable Ensembles

To maintain our standards of hygiene and exclusivity, the following are not eligible for return:

  • Sarees with customized fall, pico, or stitched blouses.
  • Items purchased during exclusive 'Heritage Sale' events.
  • Products showing signs of wear or damage caused after unboxing.

IV. Refunds & Store Credit

Once your return is received and passes our quality audit:

  • Store Credit: We offer the option of store credit with 1-year validity for your next masterpiece.
  • Original Payment: Alternatively, a refund will be processed to your original payment method within 7-10 business days.
